Gott`s Store in Mount Desert Island

Great place to have near by for needs and....the Pizza, yes the Pizza at a gas station.....blew my mind and expectations. Gott Father delicious and what a menu and list of ingredients. I was vacationing on the Island and rented a house in quiet Bass Harbor.....So thankful that this place exists. Got Blueberry lemon pound cake made by them....pretty damn tastey.

Great store for the necessities. The lunches and baked goods are great and if you go in early in the morning your sure to catch the local lobstermen hanging out, having coffee and telling a story or two.

It's got a very woodsy feeling to this place, like a very small town convenience store. It's also a small fast food joint in the back with an ice cream shop further in the back. It reminds me of a bodega but located in a rural area that serves fried clams. Outside, it's a gas station. Modest selection of produce and a small sitdown eat in area that also has coffee.

Very nice convenience considering not much else is on this side of the island. I will have to admit they have just about everything. Prices are not big city cheap but you cant expect that from the only game in town.

Good little big store for most of your needs. Has a very good daily lunch options in the warmer that will fill you and warm you right up on the coldest of days. Fresh fruit and veggies. Hot coffee and if you want to eat in they have a nice little sitting area.

I'm a work camper on the island nice to have a grocery store close. They even serve great hot food and 🍦.

Has the best comfort food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Nothing fancy, but has the groceries you need when you need them.

Usually have killer pizza and will make anything you ask them to if they have the stuff for it, Gotta love it!

The one stop shop on Mount Dessert Island. Booze, gas, pizza, ice cream and the ladies who work there are so nice. Why are you reading this? If you need stuff they've got go to Gotts. Be polite, this is Maine.

This place just makes the island. Staff is friendly, and informative. Very mom/pop kind of place. The deli in the back makes the most amazing food and don't forget the icecream outside in the back. Prices are the lowest you can find on the island. This is a must stop in place for MDI

This is a great little convenience store and restaurant. Their soft serve ice cream is tasty and quite a large portion.

My go to store for things I forgot from the grocery store, snacks, alcohol, or pizza! The pizza is AMAZING.

This was a frequent stop of ours when we stayed at a campsite down the road and drove back and forth from acadia. There were great prepared food selections and several sizes of whoopie pies (small sizes good for introducing to friends who are whoopie virgins). The baked goods were delicious and you got a lot for your money. Staff is friendly and very approachable.

Was extremely happy this store/gas station was open, especially with the Trump Shutdown going on at the national parks. Since I was prepared for a day at Seawall (Acadia National Park), and since no restroom facilities were open, I had to make a pit stop. I did not need to buy anything at this time, but I did notice that I could pick up many necessities for future visits in that area.

Wow, really great little store with a good variety of grocery items (even fresh produce) and a very diverse array of delicious prepared foods. Pizza is a real star too! Definitely worth a stop.

if this was a couple years ago they would definitely get five stars the selection is still great the prices are a little high but we live on an island and they're one of the only stores in town so they can do that the only issue I have now is the deli food like made to order sandwichs pizzas and that stuff is not nearly the quality it used to be

Best store around there the kitchen in the back does a Awesome job with there being no fast food up that way and good people that worked there

I enjoy the food especially the jalapeno poppers and the Gottfsther sandwich . The staff is very friendly and makes coming in enjoyable

We accidentally showed up at 7:50 to get some ice cream. We didn't realize that they closed at 8. They were super nice and served us ice cream with smiles.

Great little store with a big variety including homemade food and homemade dog treats. Cost is very reasonable for the island and the fried clams and ice cream are excellent. Also good breakfast sandwiches. 😉
